The idea for the P. Forte came from a study of the history of panforte, which was common in the Middle Ages not as a dessert to be eaten after meals, but as an energy-intensive foodstuff. This led us to create a bar with the typical taste of panforte, sweet but not cloying, made from the highest-quality ingredients to give you the energy boost you need.
Prepared using meticulously selected raw materials, the P. Forte energy bar is the latest creation of our master bakers. It is a healthy supplement bar, which replaces an athlete’s lost energy thanks to the simple sugars in the candied fruit it contains. The natural ingredients we use make the P. Forte bar a complete food. It is rich in animal and vegetable proteins from citrus peel, and maca, a plant belonging to the cabbage family, provides amino acids, vitamins and fibre, all with the traditional taste of panforte: sweet, fruity, and spicy, but never cloying.
