Dating back to the Middle Ages, Panforte Siena PGI is one of the oldest traditional Sienese desserts, the recipe of which is dictated by the production regulations of the association for the protection of ricciarelli and panforte. Our Panforte is the result of the processing and baking of a mixture based on quality ingredients: flour, candied fruit, almonds, sugar, honey and spices. We make sure that our ingredients are always fresh and come from the best farms. The PGI designation guarantees a rigorous control of the production process combined with the use of top-quality ingredients. The almonds we use are of the best quality and are selected by hand. The candied fruit is processed with traditional techniques, in order to reach an optimal level of softness and sweetness.
