First of all the almonds, sweet and bitter, originating in Italy, mainly from Apulia, soft, tasty and rich in the essential oils that define their aroma. They are the perfect dessert for almond lovers, the taste is more intense than that of “Ricciarello di Siena PGI”. The almonds we use are Italian, soft, tasty and fragrant. The distinctive bitter aftertaste is instead conferred by a skilfully balanced, small quantity of bitter almonds. Each individual amaretto is shaped by hand, then gently browned in the oven, sprinkled with icing sugar to help keep it soft inside, cooled and packaged in sealed food trays and then placed in decorated cardboard boxes.
